TOTE WIN £19.30 PL £5.40, £8.70, £11.10, £2.00; CSF £218.66; TRICAST £3970.54 ANALYSIS: BACK IN BUSINESS ran out an assured winner of this handicap to record his first success over hurdles. He was going well turning in and took charge on the approach to the last. He saw out this trip well and, while a rise in the weights is inevitable, he could be placed to further advantage in the coming weeks. Silver Side performed creditably on his handicap debut and raced up with the pace from the outset. He will improve from what was only his fourth run and there should be more to come from him. Blonde Ambition produced a good effort in trying to make all. Her penultimate run behind Risetotheoccasion gave her a chance of getting involved here and she can make her mark at this level. Rossdee Lad was bidding to follow up his victory at Thurles last month and ran another sound race off an eight pound higher mark. He began to make good progress after halfway but was unable to match the leaders in the straight. Kilfenora Ceili, a stablemate of the winner, looked a possible danger turning for home but was unable to sustain her effort. She could make her mark in a similar contest. Paldounix wasn't disgraced and seemed to see out this trip well enough. He has further room for improvement over hurdles. Knock Na Garm Lad was putting in his best work in the closing stages and could appreciate a longer trip. Supreme Justice was poised just off the leaders leaving the back straight but was hampered by a weakening rival, which didn't help his chances. He remains one to keep on the right side of. Marshall Hall looked likely to take a hand in the finish turning in but dropped out of contention and this trip may have been beyond him. |
