A step up in trip did the trick for BOB MOUNTAIN, who relishes the faster ground and beat his rivals with an injection of pace early in the home straight.
Theatre Groom took some solid form into the race and again shaped as if it could be onlya matter of time before he won. He was clawing back the deficit on the run-in.
Willywont He proved an eyecatcher as he transferred his point-to-point ability to hurdling and kept on promisingly at the end. He didn't look to be happy on the ground but this was encouraging.
Yoursomethinelse attracted plenty of interest in the ring but was never boxing for closer than third over the last two.
