Dear Breeder |
The autumn sales season of 2007 has given a very clear indication of where the bloodstock market is heading. Good individuals, well produced, and with good prospects based on pedigree have never sold better, but an expansion in the number of horses for sale, combined with a softening of world economies, has made life tough for may vendors. |
In this context, I am delighted that Ballylinch sires have enjoyed an exceptional year in the sales rings, with our young sire Bachelor Duke’s first yearlings and Whipper’s first foals being extremely well received by the market. Looking to the future, we are very excited to have brought the outstanding racehorse Lawman to Ballylinch for 2008. This magnificent looking colt is being very well supported by Europe’s top breeders and we look forward to showing him to you on your next visit to Ballylinch. |
We continue to invest heavily in facilities at Ballylinch and this year we have added an equine spa therapy unit, an indoor exercise area and over 60 acres of new mare paddocks. |
Next season will see the opening of a new walk in facility for visiting mares. The team at Ballylinch are dedicated to providing a world class service to all our clients, |
Finally a big thank you to all or clients for your support in 2007 – we hope to share lots of success with you in 2008. |
