ANALYSIS: Quite a competitive handicap chase, though with several making their seasonal reappearance, and others not in the best of form, it may not have taken that much winning.

That said, FULL HOUSE, who hasn't the best of completion records, travelled strongly and jumped pretty well, is quite an interesting sort, and did it well enough in the end. He had been running well when he came down three out on his reappearance at Market Rasen last month, and if he can get his jumping together, he should go on.

This was a solid first race of the season by Vandas Choice, who was in good form early last season. In trouble a fair way out, he stayed on well from off the pace to finish clear second and will be interesting over three miles.

The ex-Irish Glenelly Gale shaped quite well on his first run for new connections. He kept on without ever looking like winning.

Tacolino, who was right up with the pace until fading in the straight, did well from 4lb out of the handicap and though he finished tired, he will find easier opportunities.

St Matthew faded after racing up with the pace and will come on for the run and the same applies to Turgeonev, who is on a good mark now.
