TOTE WIN £4.10 PL £1.50, £4.60, £2.10; Ex £86.70; CSF £63.24; TRICAST £639.37 ANALYSIS: Just an average novices' handicap, but there was plenty to like about the winning display of DARINA'S BOY, who went to the front five out and stuck to his task in gritty style. A winning hurdler before being absent for a couple of years with leg problems, he is going the right way over fences and should continue to pay his way. Iris's Prince went down fighting in second and produced an improved performance compared with his previous start. Beat The Heat was comfortably held in third, aswas Balladeer. An early blunder did not help the chance of Full On, while Mandica also spoiled his chances by an early blunder on his first outing for more than five months. Lake Merced ran poorly. |
