ANALYSIS: A fair novice chase run at quite a good pace and TUMBLING DICE, racing for the first time for more than six months and for the first time over fences, put up a good performance. He jumped well, led 6 out and kept up the gallop to score in good style.

Trainer Tom Taaffe said: "I was very pleased with the way he jumped, but he's rated 140 over hurdles so, if he is going to take to fences, he should have won like that. He'll go the upper novice route."

Calorando, another decent hurdler runningover fences for the first time, was putting in his best work at the end and is one for the shortlist in his next race.

Laragh House led with well over a circuit to run until headed by the winner. He rallied in the straight and, as a winner in convincing style at Listowel, should be able to win a novice chase.

Brigadier Brown, running for the first time since the Punchestown festival, kept on well. His runs earlier this year were over hurdles but he has run well over fences in the past.

There was another 20 lengths back to Natural Storm, who was running for the first time for five and a half months, so he can be expected to come on from this.

Dix Villez was withdrawn because of a stone bruise.
