TOTE WIN £1.60 PL £1.10, £1.80, £1.80; Ex £5.80; CSF £3.16 ANALYSIS: A wide range of abilities in this novices' hurdle, which was run at just an ordinary gallop and was won in good style by the odds-on CIRCASSIAN, who was value for around 20 lengths having travelled strongly and been eased clear with no problem in thestraight. He made mistakes at the last two hurdles when in front, which suggests he still has a bit to learn, but he's an interesting prospect, who might be best at this sort of trip and he'll find further opportunities. Bumper winner Yaboya wasn't disgraced considering he was keen early. He was no match for the winner, but kept on for a clear second and will find a race or two, particularly if he settles better. Useful Flat performer Leo's Luckyman ran quite well, but was novicey in his jumping and will improve with experience, while Trust Rule ran on to take fourth, and he's now qualified for a handicap mark. This was a better run by Pinkerton Mill, who had been pulled up on his two previous starts over hurdles, but he, like the rest, was beaten a long way. |
