 Not many got into this and Kings Thought was able to confirm the impression of his good effort at Goodwood last Sunday when he had galloped round the course before the race. He was given permission to walk down to the start early, which meant his energies were used up when they were meant to be and, having dictated from the start, he was kicked clear 4 out and never looked like being caught. He needs some cut in the ground to be seen at his best and his trainer may try him in Group 3 company in Germany.
