This was a return to form by Big Bad Bob, who had raced too keenly when taken on for the lead in the King Edward V11 at Royal Ascot. Allowed an uncontested lead this time, he galloped on resolutely under hands and heels riding to score unchallenged. He's a smart performer when things go his way, and will be interesting when raised in grade again over this trip particularly if he can dominate. |
