Quite a competitive little handicap of its type. Royal Bathwick, who lost her maiden tag here, had to be sharply extricated off the rail to get a run and was probably value for a shade more than the winning distance as a result. She seemed suited by the step up to this distance and remains relatively unexposed in this sort of grade. |
