Gin Palace, whose maiden hurdle win was boosted by runner-up Forest Tune winning at Ludlow this week, looked to find the drying ground against him as he seemed to hang fire midway up the straight before staying on from the last. He could switch to the Flat now with connections feeling he has a decent staying contest in him when there is a cut in the ground. He looks progressive and reasonably handicapped for a decent handicap hurdle next winter. |
