ANALYSIS: Favourite backers got it right here when WATTS HILL prevailed on her fourth bumper start. She loomed up to challenge early in the straight and forged clear, but she hesitated momentarily, edging to her left in the process a furlong out before regaining her composure to complete the job going away at the finish.

She is handicapped over hurdles after five less than inspiring runs in 2002, and with a rating of 84 looks sure to be following up soon.

Over Alainn held the call throughout on her second start until the winner went on, and this was a better effort from her. Shiminnie was another to shape with promise back in third on her debut, while Mill Park Lady should improve from her first run since last February having run with promise.

Smart View was struggling to make any impact leaving the back straight. Hudson Hope wasn't ignored in the market and, while she failed to make much impression here, she could be worth watching over the coming months.

Rabble Run was a spent force half a mile from home and dropped out soon after.
