Newcomer Democratic Deficit, well supported in the market, saw off the opposition, a few of them had reasonable placed form, in good style here.
Democratic Deficit was bought in for €50,000 as a yearling and had to give weight to all of his rivals, quickly stretched clear and is clearly useful. Trainer Jim Bolger may bring him, back to Leopardstown for the Listed Rochestown stakes next month.
