ANALYSIS: Despite drifting in the ring beforehand, dual-winning pointer OSCAR ORANGE got off the mark on her racecourse debut with the minimum of fuss.

Successful at Carrigtwohill and Knockanard she came from off the pace to wear down Coolgreaney after passing the 2f pole and the outcome was never in doubt before she forged clear. She will be an exciting recruit when she goes chasing in the autumn.

The runner-up, Coolgreany was the only four-year-old in the line-up but she proved more than a match for her elders after travelling sweetly to lead into the straight. She was outclassed at the finish but, on this evidence, the Liscarroll winner looks sure to pay her way especially when she goes chasing in time.

Summerbury came good between the flags after falling on her two previous starts and she plugged on in the closing stages here without ever looking a real threat up front.

Accordaline began to struggle leaving the back straight and along with Sandyford, who seized the initiative from long-time leader, Pineapple Tart, before halfway was under pressure and finding little approaching the straight.

Winning pointers Rosey Rambler and How's Your Sister both found the going tough after leaving the back straight while another to made little impact was Chica Merlyn and Cristal Valley, both successful on their previous outing between the flags.
