TOTE WIN £2.50 PL £1.30, £3.10, £1.70; Ex £22.50; CSF £14.41 ANALYSIS: The time of this second division of the maiden hurdle was much slower than the first. KALDOUAS, making his hurdles debut after showing promise in decent bumpers, scored in workmanlike fashion and will have no problems over a bit further. He will be put away until the spring, when he will have another couple of outings over hurdles before his attention is switched to chasing. Boberelle stayed on well and is now eligible for handicaps. She looks the type who will be aimed at the valuable mares' final at Newbury in March. Ballyshan seemed to run his race but the best of him is unlikely to be seen until he faces fences. Original Thought was always up there and he will do better when handicapped. The proximity of My Rosie Ribbons does not say a lot for the overall form. |
