ANALYSIS: The previous winners in the race dominated the finish here with SOME BOB BACK, successful at Sligo in August before performing creditably on fast ground at Cork later that month, winning in good style. In a race run at a moderate pace, she ranged up on the outside on the final bend before hitting the front under 2f out. She stayed on well up the hill and is to go hurdling.

Bluebyyou, a winner at Gowran in April and a remote fourth on his return at Down Royal early this month, lost his place before the straight before staying on well under hands-and-heels riding from his inexperinced rider inside the final furlong.

Give Chase, winner of her only previous start on good ground at Sligo in July, closed before the straight and had every chance 2f out before finding no extra inside the final furlong. She probably needs better ground.

Buy Onling fared best of the newcomers and can be expected to improve for the run.

Amalfitano, successful at Punchestown a year ago and having his first outing since March, was in front when he appeared to stumble on the downhill run before the straight. He came under pressure soon afterwards and could find no extra when headed by the winner almost 2f out
