TOTE WIN £4.10 PL £1.90, £2.00, £1.90; Ex £19.70; CSF £15.73 ANALYSIS: The jockeys more or less agreed with the official assessment of the ground, but added it was a bit dead in places. This was an interesting novices' hurdle that could throw up a few winners for the future. SEA THE LIGHT made up for coming down on his hurdles debut. He gave the impression that further than this will suit and looks to be going the right way. Fourty Acers jumped better than he did last time and ran better. He is up to taking an ordinary novices' event in the near future. Good Citizen shaped well on his hurdles debut and is another who should have little difficulty in opening his hurdles account. The Luder ran as if he would derive benefit for the experience and this Irish point winner will need further than this. Xila Fontenailles is now eligible for handicaps and she could be worth keeping an eye on in that sphere. Further down the field Napoleon once again looked as if he has stamina limitations while Plantagenet, having his first outing for along time, showed up well enough to suggest he can leave this running behind especially as he is now qualified for handicaps. |
