ANALYSIS: Runner-up on his chasing debut at Limerick early this month, KERRYHEAD WINDFARM jumped better here and ran out a convincing winner after coming away from three out in front. He jumped to the right at that fence, colliding with Foreign Seas, but he was soon in command and won quite comfortably. Easier ground will suit this useful novice hurdler from last season. The Drinmore Chase here on December 4 is a likely pre-Christmas target.

On The Net, fourth in the Limerick race in which Kerryhead Windfarm finished second, finished closer to the winner this time although unable to make much impression from two out having raced prominently and had every chance.

Kildare, placed on his debut over fences at a longer trip at Roscommon last month, was soon close up and kept on without posing a threat to the winner over the last few fences.

Legendsofthefall, fourth on her chasing debut at Gowran Park, was suited by the step up in trip here and will stay further. She returned with a gash to her near hind.

Foreign Seas, fourth on his debut at Down Royal in May, made most here. His jumping was mainly good although he did go the left at a few fences and was slow at the eighth. He had just been joined by the winner when that rival jumped into him three out, causing him to stumble. He faded from there, but is one to bear in mind next time.

Far From Trouble, winner of a bumper and a three mile maiden hurdle, was making his debut over fences. He made headway five out but was unable tomake much impression from three out . He should come on for the run.

*The rider of Andy Higgins, who was pulled up, reported that his mount was never travelling.
