TOTE WIN £5.90 PL £2.80, £2.20, £5.80; Ex £21.30; CSF £43.52; TRICAST £591.11 The first fence in the home straight was omitted on each circuit. ANALYSIS: A race littered with shoddy jumping and ultimately a pretty impressive performance from BOB AR AGHAIDH, who travelled well throughout, jumped fluently and battled on gamely when push came to shove in the final two furlongs under his big weight. Thisextra yardage on an easy surface clearly suited and he continued the good strike-rate of his stable at this track, but he's sure to get bumped up for this and life will not get any easier. Jiver was always close to the pace but, despite running another solid race in defeat, he never really looked like challenging the winner. Waterberg is another who is difficult to win with but shaped with some promise here after travelling well for the most part. Soft ground seems to suit him. Infrasonique plugged on for fourth but never got in a blow and will probably have needed this after such a long absence. Spanish Main ran in snatches and threw in another thoroughly mulish display before losing touch. He's one to avoid |
