ANALYSIS: DULGODTI BOB fitted with first time blinkers, showed the benefit of a previous run over jumps when making most of the running under an accomplished ride in this testing ground. The headgear appeared to make the difference when staying on to defeat the 86-rated Black Ouzel who raced in the leading group throughout.

Alickadoo jumped well showing good improvement from his initial start over jumps and on this evidence seems to be going in the right direction.

Flydo, one of three Jessica Harrington runners, kept on well in the closing stages, but Bellewstown runner-up Gleninagh, who led for a time in the early stages, dropped away.

The 95-rated Lord Archie, runner-up in a Sligo 2m4f maiden hurdle last time, raced in touch but had no more to give after the second last, while another to play no part was Lorikeet, who had been placed in his last three starts over hurdles and was wearing blinkers for the first time here.

Crenaun Bridge had his supporters on his jumping bow after racking up three consecutive bumper wins, including one in the stewards room last month at Tipperary, but he didn't jump well on this testing ground and was trailing a long way from home.
