This has been won by some smart colts, including Dr Fong, Dillapour and Nayef in recent years.
Big Bad Bob has been highly progressive since he hung across the track and was beaten at Folkestone on his second start. Front running tactics have been the Making of him, and although this was a significant step up in class, he was again in charge throughout, winning most convincingly. He gets the trip really well and is bred to be suited by middle distances next year, when connections may have to take him abroad in order to place him.
