ANALYSIS: A moderate maiden, but won in good style by GLENVIEWS YOUNGONE, who took full advantage of her favourable low draw to turn the tables on Exexel on their running here 11 days earlier.

Glenviews Youngone was making her debut that day and, according to her trainer Peter Grayson, did not have the run of the race. But she was always calling the shots this time and Exexel could not stay with her from the home turn.

Canina, a fair third in a nursery here on Wednesday, kept on past beaten rivals, such as Exexel and the well-backed Penny Thoughts (whose effort petered out tamely in the straight) for a respectable second.
