ANALYSIS: Another average handicap featuring some disappointing sorts. RAMSGILL was not beaten far in a novice hurdle at Haydock last time and had posted two decent efforts on the Flat since winning a claimer over this course and distance back in early September. While no world beater, he is clearly capable of winning his share if placed correctly.

The application of cheekpieces for the first time helped Jomus keep his mind on the job and he posted his best effort for some time.

The consistent Qualitair Wings ran his usual solid race, while Magic Warrior continues to go the right way.
