TOTE WIN £4.20 PL £1.30, £1.60, £5.00; Ex £23.40; CSF £19.07 ANALYSIS: This looked the more competitive division of the novice hurdle although the winner IN MEDIA RES came home in a time notably slower than Warningcamp posted in the opener. In Media Res was always prominent and his task was made a whole lot easier afterLe Galactico had parted company with Robert Thornton when travelling well two out. The winner has now won both his starts over hurdles but connections are not getting too carried away and will take their time before deciding where to go next. Eleazar posted his best effort over hurdles to date. There had been a suspicion he hadn't got home previously but on this occasion he was just beaten by a better horse. Saraba was ridden turning for home and stayed on at one pace, while Anna Panna would have finished a lot further of the remainder had she not been eased down. Nelson Du Ronceray cut out the early running but he went out like a light after making a mistake five out. A Thornton, rider of Anna Panna reported that the filly was hampered by a faller. |
