ANALYSIS: A modest maiden which RUSTLER was fully entitled to win on official ratings. He did just that, pulled wide on to the less chewed up ground before hanging left on this fast surface. He is a strapping colt who has shown reasonable form off his present mark in handicaps, though looks fully exposed.

Resistance Heroine remains a maiden but, racing more prominently, showed enough in beating the rest comfortably - and keeping up vain pursuit of the winner - that she should win her maiden.

Bauhinia travelled well against the inside rail but did not find that much when switched out to get a run. She has struggled to get competitive over six previously but appeared not to see out this longer trip.

Beauty Talk was slowly away but then got lit up and it was no surprise she weakened - she remains very disappointing.
