TOTE WIN £14.10 PL £3.80, £1.70, £3.10; Ex £58.80; CSF £26.45; TRICAST £242.38 ANALYSIS: They all finished in a bit of a heap for this run-of-the-mill handicap, so the form is nothing to get carried away about. MR AITCH managed to drop his maiden tag at the eighth time of asking. He was reverting to a mile here but judging by the style of the win, another furlong or so would not go amiss in future. Bold Diktator finished well under his big weight at a course where he has scored before. However the handicapper probably has him spot-on at present. Pink Bay was attempting a mile for the first time and that is probably as far as she wants to go. Heathwood boasts a win on the all-weather and judging by the way he ran here, he requires some more cut in the ground. Take It There, having her first outing for two months, ran well enough but is obviously nothing out of the ordinary. Scottish Play could well have finished closer but for losing his position in some jostling early on. He plugged on in the closing stages and may want a bit further. |
